I've been thinking about buying a new PC lately - my old one is from 1998/99, an Athlon 600 Mhz. Very lame when compared with a good budget system of today. But then I think to myself, why do I need one ? I know I'm a "computer guy" and should want these things, but other than playing games I've got no good reason to buy one.

Sigh. Maybe I'm outgrowing these things :)
